Seit Oktober 2023 ist Maximilian Golla als Tenure-Track Faculty am CISPA tätig und leitet das MaxLab. Er promovierte an der Ruhr-Universität Bochum, wo er sich mit der Usability und Sicherheit der passwortbasierten Benutzerauthentifizierung befasste. Anschließend war er als Postdoktorand am Max-Planck-Institut für Sicherheit und Datenschutz in Bochum tätig.
